This is a logo animation I created for a friend's production company. The logo was already designed, so I was charged with bringing it to life.
I conceptualized the interlocking circles as focal controls that you would find on a video or slr camera. Using expressions in After Effects, I rigged the rotation of these "focus rings" to control the focus of the scene's virtual camera.
